Part sound, the Enzo Ferrari is probably one of the productions of the most emblematic of the history of the prancing horse. But his surname is not the only reason : there is also its mechanics, and its strong links with the world of competition. As a reminder that Ferrari, this is before any two worlds : the road and the track.
At Ferrari, the road and the track are inseparable. If it is very difficult to see the links between a Toyota and endurance and a Yaris, it is much more easy to see the familiarity existing between a LaFerrari and a F1 Scuderia. The finding was similar in 2002 when Ferrari officially launched the Enzo, a supercar in name necessarily heavy to wear but fortunately, the engine is all that is best from Maranello.
The V12 tradition of the house Ferrari, cube six litres and delivers 660 hp to the rear wheels, allowing the Enzo to reach 350 km/h and cross the 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. Indeed, today, many of the supercars are better than this, but few have the very style-oriented “competition” of the Enzo, and even less charisma.
And as for any supercar Ferrari (288 GTO, F40, F50…), its rating has never really decreased, quite the contrary. Today, it is not uncommon to see Enzo at over a million euros, especially when the color is a little more special than the red…
