Last April, Audi unveiled a new concept foreshadowing the future power of the brand, with the E-Tron Sportback, a kind of sedan coupe raised to the electric motor. Today, Audi is promoting in Berlin with a play on words clever including the name of the owner manufacturer’s rival, Tesla.
It was not only in the United States that we find small trade advertising between car manufacturers. This is almost always done on the tone of the humour, and it must be recognized that the marks sometimes have a beautiful imagination. This time, only, it is not of the US but of Europe, since this poster has been immortalised on the side of Berlin by a passerby.
It shows the concept E-Tron Sportback unveiled by Audi last April, at the salon of Shanghai with a small sentence in commentary : “the musk have”. It is a play on words with the expression “must have” (to have absolutely) except that the “t” must had been replaced by a “k” for a good reason, since the word refers to Elon Musk, boss of Tesla.
Remember that Audi wants to compete with Tesla on the electric of the next three years, with high-end models like the E-Tron Quattro concept. A reference rather nice will certainly not fail to amuse the boss of Tesla.
